Getting to Rocca di Papa

By Plane

The nearest airports are:

- Rome Fiumicino Airport

- Rome Ciampino Airport

From both airports, the easiest way to reach Rocca di Papa is to rent a car or use a private transfer service.

 

Approximate travel times:

- Ciampino → about 30 minutes 

- Fiumicino → about 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes

By Train

The main station is Rome Termini, with connections to major Italian cities and airports.

 

From Rome, you can continue towards the Castelli Romani area by car, taxi, or regional train, and then reach Rocca di Papa in just a few minutes.

Rocca di Papa is located about 40 minutes from the center of Rome, in the heart of the Castelli Romani area.

 

The roads pass through rolling hills and vineyards: a small glimpse of the area's beauty.

 

Parking is available at the location.

Getting Around the Castelli Romani

We recommend, whenever possible, having a car during your stay.

Many historic villas, restaurants, and villages are surrounded by greenery and are not always easily accessible by public transportation.

Alternatively, taxis or private transfers can be arranged.
